Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.” – Isaiah 55:1

Come as you are! We value authenticity and don’t expect or want perfect people.  We want honest people.  So, come as you are.  Wear what you want. If you have a Bible, bring it. If you don’t, we’ll give you one!

What to Expect…

When you walk in the doors, the folks at our welcome table can fill you in and introduce you to people.  If you are bringing young children, we welcome them to our TotsTown and KidsTown ministries. Also, be sure to check out our information table for the latest happenings at Convergence. Before service, feel free to grab morning snacks and refreshments while mingling with others.

We begin our gathering with a few songs of worship.  Why do we sing?  Singing unlocks feelings deep within us and enables us to express our gratitude, joy and pain before God.  This is not “American Idol”, this is our time of worshiping God, so we encourage you to be free and sing out! After a few songs, we pray. An announcer shares a few church-wide announcements and then frees us up to meet people.  We value this time and hope you get to know someone better.

Then, we take our seats and hear a sermon from the preaching team.  The gospel is preached in a way that helps people better understand their faith in current everyday life.

Following the sermon, ushers come forward to receive the offering.  This is one aspect of our worship.  If you are visiting for the first time, we don’t expect you to give and you can let the bag pass.  If you do feel inclined to give, feel free.

We then close with a couple songs of worship and a benediction (closing prayer).

On the second and fourth Sundays we partake in communion during our service as well. The last Sunday of the month is our Family Service where the entire congregation (kids and all) worships together and enjoys lunch together.

We hope you take the opportunity to join us in worship.  You are always welcome!
